Girard's original La Fonda del Sol project put the emphasis on sol with bold, color-saturated graphics of the sun. The smiling, almost whimsical images are a clear nod to Girard's love of folk art, but he managed to fashion them with a thoroughly modern sensibility.

The Girard La Fonda del Sol collection is sold as 6-tile rugs. Combine two or more rugs of the same or different styles for larger installations.
