Back to School!

I don't know where this summer has gone, but the stormy Saturday evening in Seattle this past weekend made it seem like fall was coming early.

So, I went out on Monday with my soon to be 1st grader and his younger brother to get some school supplies. Top of the list is the new Fleurville Lunch Buddy in the Camo Skeleton. My younger son is in preschool and loves his Fleurville Lunch Pak which is still in good condition from last year. Though, I know it won't be too long before he realizes his brother got a cool new one and he didn't. Tough being the younger kid.

Donate School Supplies

Every year kids go back to school and it's so much fun to have new clothes, backpacks and supplies. For many kids though, their family can't afford these items or they are in a foster family. Please consider making a donation to either Treehouse or to the Eastside's Hopelink.

tottini will be accepting donations this weekend (July 18-20) for Treehouse.

Stuff kids Need:
-backpacks for high school students
-tab dividers for three-ring binders (the five-subject type)
-erasers
-colored markers (thin-line and wide-line)
-scissors (blunt-tip and pointed-tip)
-glue sticks
-notebook paper (college-ruled and wide-ruled)
-calculators

Gently used car seats, strollers, clothing, and toys will also be accepted. Anyone bringing in a donation will receive 10% off their tottini purchase.

Dwell on Design

We were really excited to be an exhibitor at the Dwell magazine conference this year in Los Angeles. There was a great turnout over the 3 days and tottini was one of two booths with any children's furnishings, the other being ecotots which we also carry.

Flor just released the new Alexander Girard tiles and Fedex them just in time for our display. Everyone loved to see them in person.

The Hushamok and Let's Play Mailbox were both also a big hit with the crowd.









Blogger Kitsune Noir gave tottini an honorable mention on his blog, he has a great photo of our booth.



Mod*Mom also stopped by to chat while on her way to Disneyland, here is the Bloom Loft Fresco with some of Boon's products and MelissaVF and I in our booth.










It was fun to have Shannon from Pixel stop by our booth. When she and her husband Chris found out we were staying in Culver City just up the street from the classic LA diner Dinah's we arranged to meet for breakfast. Shannon shared her love of their German Pancake.

Netto at tottini

We had a great time hosting a party with David Netto of Netto Collection. It was a fun evening for everyone and one lucky (and pregnant) couple won a Cabine crib, we'll try to post photos when their nursery is setup.

Thanks go out to Dry Soda for making mocktails for everyone and the yummy apps from Portage Bay Cafe, which just opened a new location close to us in South Lake Union.
